Are you for real?
We hate terms like consultants or consulting - even though we use them in this business. That said, we like to think of ourselves as successful entrepreneurs who want to share their expertise with others who are getting started or looking for more robust growth. But we’re not just here for the money or to give you some generic PowerPoint. We are here for you - to give you the services that you and your business need. That said, we’re also serious about being paid for our work and expertise. The goal is for our engagement to buy a win-win.
How can you really get a sense of my Faire presence?
We do this in a number of ways. Firstly, we have a small store - that allows us to have a Faire customer/retailer account. As such we can see what your customers — present or prospective — see when they look at your brand and products on Faire. Secondly, we go into your Faire back end to look at the settings and details. (You give us access to this.) Thirdly, we look at your competitors’ Faire sites to see what they are doing differently.
How long will it take to schedule my audit or other services?
We try to arrange your audit or review as quickly as possible. Once we have your payment we will put you on the schedule at our next availability. This is generally one to three weeks out. We will be fully transparent with you about when the services will start and when you can expect your report.
Can I add on services beyond the options listed on your homepage?
Absolutely. We recommend starting with an audit of your Faire presence. After that point we can discuss an hourly consulting rate so that we can help you to follow through on any of the recommendations from the audit. To keep things clean, we will generally ask for payment up front for a set number of hours for any post-audit consulting and will then charge you hourly for additional time beyond that initial payment. Note: We would invoice you on a weekly basis and would require payment in a timely manner. Our goal to avoid surprises - we will be transparent about how many hours we expect work to take.
